The group BCP he had profits of 1,018.6 million of euros, the largest ever and plus 12.4% facing 2024, the bank announced today in a press conference.
By countries, only when operating in Portugal the bank generated profits of 869.4 million of euros, but 10,6% in relation to 2024. International operations reached 149.2 million euros.
“The bank presents the best results ever“, highlighted the bank’s CEO, Miguel Maya, while presenting the results.
He further adds that the credit portfolio rose 7.3% to R$62.6 billion; the housing segment increased by 5.6% to 30.3 billion, but it was the companies segment that stood out the most (10%, to 24.4 billion euros).
Regarding customer resources, light lift for installment deposits: from 47.9 billion to 53.5 billion euros.
O banking product surpassed R$2 billion last year: it is 3.8% more than the previous year.
Despite the fall in interest rates at European level, the financial margin rose 2.4% and reached R$2,898 million.
Com as commissions, BCP raised 847.4 million euros, 4.3% more than in 2024; In this context, in Portugal they rose 5.6% to 626 million euros.
