The MEC (Ministry of Education) will release, next Thursday (26), the results of the first stage of the 2025 School Census.
The announcement will be made by Minister Camilo Santana at a press conference held in Manaus (AM), with live broadcast throughout the country.
The document is considered the main statistical research on Brazilian basic education.

According to the folder, all information collected is based on the reality of the teaching units on the research reference date, serving as a faithful portrait of the educational scenario at the beginning of the school year.
The data consolidated at this stage is fundamental for the management of the sector, as it serves as a basis for the transfer of federal resources, such as those from Fundeb, and for planning student assistance programs, such as transport and school meals.
Furthermore, mapping the number of enrollments and infrastructure conditions is essential for guaranteeing subsidies and for developing public policies for the sector across the country.
