Márcio de Lima, 24 years old, was injured after being hit by one on Wednesday night (25), on a public road in the Baixada da Sobral region, in the capital of Acre.
The young man was surprised by an unidentified man while walking down the street. The attacker, armed with a machete, struck the victim in the neck and fled shortly afterwards, without being recognized by witnesses.
Despite being injured, Márcio managed to reach the Franco Silva Emergency Care Unit (UPA) on his own, where he received his first medical care. Due to the severity of the injury, he had to be taken by a team to the Rio Branco Emergency Room.
According to medical information, the health status is stable, but the clinical condition requires attention and may develop complications.
