It was known for a long time about the popular presenter Adele Vincze (45) that she kept some of her opinions to herselfespecially when it comes to politics, but after the situation surrounding her husband, a change came and she opens controversial topics in interviews more and more often. In the session returned to the covid days, when she was one of the faces of the Vaccine is Freedom campaign.
“I got vaccinated because at that moment I said to myself that there is some kind of pandemic here and now we won’t flaunt prevention and I don’t know what. When the ship is sinking, we won’t start teaching everyone to swim on a three-month course, but we need lifeboats. And I didn’t care about everything when I injected myself with the vaccine, but I said to myself – let it serve the good, the whole. And I overcame that fear and went for it,” said the presenter.
She also described the situation with her friend, who could not dispel her fears. “I have a friend who said that she couldn’t get vaccinated. She didn’t feel good about it, she was afraid, but she sat at home and didn’t go out to cough on people. And we met in complete harmony in that we somehow respected the situation together. And that, in my opinion, is something that can be worked on,” she continued.
“But then I met people who, I think out of humility, said that – no one will poke their nose in me. And I say to myself, but it’s not about you, it’s about some kind of consensus that we all have to find,” added the presenter, who she was able to change her long-standing opinions thanks to the guests in her show Trochu inak with Adela.
The values of Adela and her husband Viktor (35) are often not the same her father Jozef Banáš (77), yet they all respect each other and function as a close-knit family, although he admits it can be challenging. “My father is a person who is not aggressive in the conversation. You can actually talk to him, although I would say in quotes, to no avail. I have witnessed several times how Viktor gave him one argument after another and then he went into such ‘achohentism’.” Vincze revealed.
In March 2020, the first case of Covid-19 appeared in Slovakia, and rightly so Banáš doubted whether the virus was dangerous. He also got infected in December.
“My father was taken by ambulance because he had such a severe course of covid. My father was laid up for 10 days… My father is fit, he is not being treated for anything, he does not take any medicine, and suddenly he was unable to breathe slowly when he only went to the toilet. My father and I didn’t deal with anything else before, only corona. You probably know that he had a slightly different opinion about the corona. I don’t know, I’m speaking in the past tense, because maybe now he’s changed his opinion a bit,” Vincze said in the past on .
Just a day later, Banáš added a video. “I never questioned that the corona does not exist, I just allowed myself to say a few questions that the mainstream did not say for certain reasons. Covid is a disease, I’m trying to stop fighting diseases, but to understand them, what those diseases want to tell us, us humanity, what we got. What the world needs to realize, I would call it humility. Even the pride that was in me is a legacy of this disease,” he addressed the followers.
He also spoke about this period Viktor Vincze when asked if he had spoken to Adele’s father about the tension in the Marquis. “When I took him from the hospital, where he was on oxygen over Christmas with severe covid, he told me, imagine, I didn’t have covid, just pneumonia. This period taught me that some topics are better not to open in the family circle,” said Viktor in June 2024 for .
Banáš, however, changed his mind three months after the coronavirus. “It was only after some time that I began to realize that it really could have turned fatal. I confess that I didn’t even notice that the young people (Viktor and Adela, editor’s note) decided that we were going. There I realized that you must have humility, you must have some kind of approach, more respectful towards these secrets. Well, that’s when I realized that come on, someone wanted to tell you that it’s not quite as you think,” he told .
