The former president Jair Bolsonaro announced this Saturday (28) that the Liberal Party (PL) will launch federal deputy Marcos Pollon (PL-MS) to compete for the Federal Senate by Mato Grosso do Sul. In a letter published by former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro on Instagram, the reserve captain said that the parliamentarian was chosen “for his character, honor and dedication”.
Yet in the letterBolsonaro announced that “soon” will share the list of PL pre-candidates who will compete for seats in the Senate. “By delegation of the president [do PL] Valdemar [Costa Neto], such a list would be my responsibility“, wrote Bolsonaro.
In this year’s elections, 2/3 of the Senate will be renewed. I.e, 54 seats are up for grabs. In each state and the Federal District, two senators will be elected.
