Injured baby otter is cared for in the owl and bird of prey station


Kilb/Haringsee – An injured baby otter is being cared for at the Haringsee Owl and Birds of Prey Station (EGS) in the Gänserndorf district. The cub had run after a woman on the street in Kilb (Melk district). According to Monday’s broadcast, the rescuer’s mother is a veterinarian and, during an immediate examination, discovered that Hermione had several cuts and a scalped toe. After the wounds were treated, the baby otter was taken to the EGS.
