The Freedom and Solidarity Party (SaS) has extended a criminal complaint against Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) for stopping deliveries of the so-called emergency electricity to Ukraine. The liberals added roughly four hundred pages to the criminal complaint with the signatures of almost 14,000 people who signed it. The President of the SaS, Branislav Gröhling, informed about this on Monday, saying that they gave the opportunity to all citizens to sign the criminal report.
“To date, 13,703 people have signed the criminal complaint. It is the largest criminal report filed by citizens of Slovakia against Robert Fico,” Gröhling said. According to him, these people do not care how the prime minister behaves, where he is leading our country, and they identified with the criminal complaint.
The head of the SaS recalled that they filed a criminal complaint with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Slovak Republic on February 24, mainly because, according to them, there are serious suspicions of the spread of an alarm report, of abuse of the powers of a public official, of treason, a terrorist attack, inhumanity.
„I am very glad that people have found courage, because we cannot only find courage every four years and protect democracy in parliamentary elections. We have to fight for her every single day,” added Gröhling.
