Israel carries out ‘simultaneous attacks’ on Tehran and Beirut

Army claims to have hit Iranian and Hezbollah military targets; smoke was seen over the Lebanese capital after bombings

The Israeli Army announced this Tuesday (3) “simultaneous attacks” in Tehran and Beirut against Iranian and US military targets Hezbollah.

“The Israeli Air Force launched selective strikes against military targets of the Iranian terrorist regime and the terrorist organization Hezbollah,” the military command said on the Telegram messaging platform.

According to images from AFPTV, a large cloud of smoke was observed over the Lebanese capital.

Tehran was rocked by strong explosionsaccording to AFP journalists. Detonations were heard in the north of the city, but it was not possible to determine the targets hit.

Iranian media also reported explosions in the city of Karaj, near Tehran, and in the city of Isfahan, in the center of the country.
