The eyes of the whole world will probably not be on Vienna on Sunday, but perhaps a few more will be when Marin Alsop conducts the Webern Symphony Orchestra at the Musikverein. As the first woman in the orchestra’s 200-year history, as the conductor explained on the Kelly Clarkson Show Popstar Pink on Tuesday night. Alsop was connected from “beautiful Vienna”.
