Viktor Vincze cut in Markíz for twelve years. From a reporter in the field, he worked his way up to the biggest stars. In addition to news, he became the face of the leading entertainment show. The turning point came when the television changed owners and a new management marched into Záhorská Bystrica with Peter Gažík at the head.
Vincze, who pointed out the alleged censorship and interference in independent journalism, was pulled from the screen and offered a place on the web. It ended with the resignation of the once popular face of Markíza and a lawsuit in court. Viktor did not sit idly by all the time, and in parallel with his television career, he also built a second one, which is even closer to the stars.
He became a pilot of jet aircraft, such as the giant Boeing, after an investment of almost seventy thousand. After the definitive stop in the yellow-blue jersey, he began to devote himself fully to it. Vincze has been flying all over the world as a professional pilot since June 2024. But that is surprisingly the end – the ex-moderator took his hands off the control unit and explained the reasons why he is no longer sitting in the cockpit.
“I don’t fly, because I would have to be away from my family for long periods of time, specifically for three weeks out of every month. And slowly every man I meet now tells me that he would trade all his career successes at any time to be able to be at home again with the children when they were small. It is a unique period that will not be able to be returned or repeated.” Viktor told us and added: “Nobody fired me, it’s purely my personal and voluntary decision. Children need a father at home, the adopted doubly so. Moreover, nowhere is it written that I won’t return to the cockpit one day, we’ll see how life will develop.” stated for Vincz.

The newspaper pointed out that last November, the newsroom received a tip that the airline company AirExplore, for which Vincze flew, was facing a large loss of money due to an alleged cyber attack on its accounts. For this reason, she should not have had enough funds left even for salaries.
