New attacks hit Iran and Lebanon this Friday, 6th, on the seventh day of clashes in the Middle East, while Israel said it intends to intensify the offensive. In response, Tehran declared having hit targets in Tel-Aviv, increasing the escalation of the conflict in the region.

Israel launches airstrikes

Israel launched airstrikes against several cities in southern Lebanon. “Enemy warplanes carried out nighttime bombing raids on the cities of Srifa, Aita al-Shaab, Touline, Sawana and Majdal Selm,” Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported on Friday.

The Israeli military also said it had completed a wave of large-scale airstrikes in Dahiya, a densely populated area south of Beirut considered a Hezbollah stronghold. According to the Israeli military, the bombings hit ten buildings and several command centers used by the group.

Tehran is the target of new bombings

At least six large explosions were heard in the central and eastern areas of Tehran. A medical clinic, a gas station, a parking lot and two residential buildings were destroyed after the attacks hit several residential neighborhoods, according to state television.

Iran launches missiles at Tel Aviv

Child deaths

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reported that at least 192 children died since the beginning of the war in the Middle East.

According to the organization, 181 children were killed in Iran, seven in Lebanon, three in Israel and one in Kuwait.

“Children don’t start wars, but they pay an unacceptably high price,” Unicef ​​wrote in a post on X. “The military buildup in the Middle East has already had a devastating impact on children.”
