On Monday there will be differences: a liter of diesel costs R$ 1.83, gasoline goes up 7 cents.

As expected, the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, the attack by the USA and Israel on Iran, will already affect the fuel price starting next Monday.

For March 9th, it is expected that the liter of diesel simple stay 23 cents more expensive, while the liter of Gasoline simple 95 increase 7 cents.

According to the General Directorate of Energy and Geology (DGEG), on Monday diesel will cost 1,864 euros per liter, while the average price of 95 gasoline should rise to 1,78 euros per liter.

These changes will make the diesel becomes more expensive than gasoline.

Until Sunday, on average, gasoline will still remain 7 cents more expensive than diesel.

But in the meantime the scale of the discount no ISP announced by Luís Montenegro.

The Prime Minister assured in Parliament on Wednesday that if the increase per liter was greater than 10 cents, the tax on petroleum products would decrease.

This Friday, the Ministry of Finance announced that it will apply an extraordinary and temporary discount on road diesel of 3.55 cents per liter.

In practice, on average diesel will cost 1,831 euros per liter.

According to the National Association of Fuel Dealers, this change in discount is not sufficient in the current scenario.
