Tennis player Kližan and his girlfriend escaped from the Middle East: We returned HOME safely! I have a wonderful man who…

Among the Slovaks stuck in the Middle East were tennis player Martin Kližan and his partner Zuzana Šutjaková. A few days ago, Zuzana asked her followers for information about repatriation flights from Saudi Arabia to Slovakia. A flight from Amman, Jordan, was out of the question because of the long distance. The journey by car would take more than 18 hours.

Even the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic did not recommend moving between countries in the Middle East. The couple tried to contact the Slovak authorities, but it was not very successful. MZVEZ informed them after four days that it does not provide repatriation from Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Kližan took a sharp approach to Slovakia’s approach. You can read more about it.

The tennis player took matters into his own hands. “We took care of everything ourselves and just to get to the airport safely and not have our flight cancelled,” the model informed her followers on Thursday. On the social network, Zuzana added pictures from the car and revealed that they were traveling to the airport, specifically to Riyadh, which is less than 4 hours away from the city of Khobar (where they were located) by car. “To Riyadh, from Riyadh to Frankfurt, from Frankfurt to Vienna,” Kližan described what awaited them.

On Friday, the tennis player’s partner announced on the social network that they are at home. She singled out Kližana in a separate post. “We got home safely because I have a wonderful man I can count on. I managed to be at my smart daughter’s first win. And my Formula 1 season starts tonight. I’m just a happy woman. Thank you” she wrote on Instagram.

“When even rockets won’t stop you, because supporting her is a priority. From the airport straight after her so that I can catch her first competition of the season.” she added proudly. After the painful days, she was able to be with her daughter during her big dance day.
