Two people died in a family house fire in the village of Trnovec nad Váhom in the Šaľa district. The fire broke out in the night hours in the part of Horný Jatov. As a result of the fire, the roof collapsed into the family house, the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Nitra informed.
Two persons aged 67 and 63 were found in the house, who did not show signs of life. An investigator into the cause of the fire was present at the scene, who did not rule out someone else’s fault. The police have started a criminal investigation into the matter for the crime of manslaughter.
