Fiancee Monika about the suffering of Černák’s mother Žofia: She has been asking about one thing for 12 years!

The former boss of the Banská Bystrica underworld, Mikuláš Černák, tried to return to freedom after 27 years behind bars. Although the Trnava District Court denied his request for parole on September 24, 2025the period after the case has not yet fallen. The defense immediately appealed against the verdict, so the fate of the life-sentenced mobster will have to be decided by the regional court.

During the lengthy trial, his fiancee Monika Křivová, with whom he has been a couple for twelve years, stood firmly by his side. She did not miss a single hearing and in the courtroom until the last moment she believed in his release. She is convinced that Černak no longer poses any risk to society and their only desire is to start leading a peaceful family life together.

He goes to prison in Leopoldov and often visits his partner with his mother Žofia. Fans on the social network were interested in how the elderly lady was doing. “She is doing similarly to those who have no one at home, who have lost their parents, husband and children. People compare her with others unnecessarily. She really has no family – she has no husband left at home, no child left.” the well-known blonde described her life on Instagram on Sunday.

It is she who experiences the most difficult moments, according to Černak’s fiancee, faith and prayers remained the only companions of his mother. “She prays from dawn to dusk and believes that this life of hers will not only be about suffering, but hopefully, if she lives, also about joy. Every phone call we have is in the same spirit, she asks: ‘When?’ And I haven’t been able to give her a specific answer for 12 years,” the young woman admitted sadly.

Their last hope is an appeal in the case of the ex-mafia’s parole, which is already at the Regional Court in Trnava. “The file material of the Trnava District Court was submitted to the regional court on February 5, 2026. The file is with the judge for study. It is not yet known when the matter will be decided,” said court spokeswoman Jana Kondákorová.
