During an interview with the program Hot Marketdo CNN MoneyPinto highlights that the association with the group goes beyond financial support, serving as support for international expansion.

“Belly not counter” and agility
The main difference in the success of the union, according to Pinto, was not the financial power of the Batista brothers’ group, but the identity of values. “The culture is very similar: owner’s culture, owner’s eye, ‘belly on the counter’. They don’t play for the audience and they like what is right. The cultural alignment that exists is impressive”, he highlighted.
The business model defined between the parties establishes a clear division of functions: Mantiqueira provides technical and operational expertise, while . “In all the negotiations, they said: ‘Leandro, you come in with the know-how and we’ll come in with the rearguard’. They have a global platform that we didn’t have,” he explained.
According to the businessman, this “rearguard” has already shown practical results, especially in the company’s international operations. Leandro Pinto revealed that speed in decisions is one of the pillars of the partnership, with strategic resolutions being taken via messaging applications, without the bureaucratic constraints common in corporations of this size.
