Motorola launches ultra-thin cell phones with cameras that surpass iPhone

A Motorola announced, this Monday (9), the launch of its new line of cell phones, the edge 70. The brand’s thinnest device stands out for its triple 50 MP camera systemsurpassing competitors like the iPhone 17.

They make up the o line, edge 70 fusion+ and edge 70 fusion, which differ in their thinness and longer battery life compared to similar devices launched until August 2025. They reach the Brazilian market for, respectively, R$ 5,499 (512 GB) and R$ 4,499 (256 GB); R$3,499 and R$2,999.

The models are available in Bronze Green, Lily Pad, Gadget Gray, as well as the 2026 Pantone Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer.

The cameras come with optical image stabilization (OIS), which ensures camera performance in low-light environments, as well as increasing clarity and level of detail even in motion.

The Motorola edge 70 fusion gets a special edition inspired by FIFA, part of the Motorola Collections, with exclusive content and experiences for football fans.

The new devices have natively integrated artificial intelligence, allowing the use of camera features, “What happened?” for smart notification summaries, “Note It Up” for real-time audio transcription, and Image Studio for creating images and avatars from text commands.
