Milan – The public prosecutor’s office in the Italian metropolis of Milan has opened an investigation into a WhatsApp group in which around a dozen tram drivers are said to have exchanged comments on images of female passengers from surveillance cameras. The focus of the investigation is the suspicion of unauthorized access to an IT system. At least one person has already been charged. The police also carried out several searches, according to Milan judicial circles.
