Brussels – The Interior Committee in the EU Parliament has paved the way for so-called deportation centers in third countries. Conservative and far-right MPs voted in Strasbourg on Monday for a package of measures that would significantly tighten the EU’s immigration policy. The EU Parliament could now vote on the text as early as Thursday.
