Scandal in Hollywood: The star actor was thrown out of the house! He refuses to lift a finger without royalty

Mickey Rourke lost his rental house in Los Angeles and had to move out this week. According to court documents obtained by the New York Post, his Drexel Avenue residence has officially been returned to the property’s owner, Eric T. Goldie.

The verdict was issued on Monday by a court in Los Angeles in a so-called default decision. That means that the actor probably did not respond to the lawsuit or appear in court to defend himself before the deadline. According to the lawsuit, it was a decision regarding the possession of the property, not compensation for damages. The information was first reported by People magazine. The actor’s representative did not immediately respond to the media’s request for comment.

Back in December, Goldie demanded in a court filing that Rourke vacate the house within three days or pay $59,100 in rent owed. The actor, known among other things from the movie Iron Man 2, was seen in January taking his belongings out of the house. Shortly thereafter, a tow truck appeared in the driveway.

At the same time, it was revealed that Rourke was temporarily staying at a luxury hotel in the West Hollywood neighborhood, where room rates start at around $550 a night. The situation was also complicated by a collection on the GoFundMe platform, which was founded by Liya-Joelle Jones with the aim of collecting $100,000 and helping the actor avoid eviction. However, Rourke vehemently denied any involvement in this initiative. “I didn’t ask for any charity. That’s not me, okay?” he said in a video on Instagram.

The actor also declared that he would not ask for financial assistance. “If I needed money, I would not ask for any charity. I wouldn’t know in a million years what a GoFundMe foundation is. I have too much pride to ask for such a thing,” he said.

According to his manager, Kimberly Hines, he is still getting job offers, but he is waiting for fees matching Hollywood’s top and he refuses to work for less than $200,000 a day. A source quoted by The Mail also claims that Rourke used to live like a rock star with a lot of drugs and alcohol, and even if he can earn large sums, he spends them quickly.
