The state government launched the first notice of Centelha 3 Programan initiative aimed at encouraging innovative entrepreneurship and the emergence of new technology-based businesses. The public call was published this Thursday (12) in the Official Gazette and provides for the selection of up to 20 projects with the potential to generate innovative solutions for different sectors of the economy.
Coordinated by Foundation for Research Support of the State of Acre (Fapac), the program will be executed in partnership with Secretary of State for Industry, Science and Technology of Acre (Seict) and federal institutions that promote science and innovation. The initiative marks the state’s entry into the national program that seeks to encourage the creation of innovative companies across the country.
The official launch took place at the beginning of March and was attended by the minister Luciana Santosthe governor and the vice-governor. The expectation is that the program will help consolidate a more favorable environment for innovation and technological entrepreneurship in the state.
Resources and support for projects
In total, the notice provides R$1.6 million in economic subsidy resources to support innovative ideas. Of this amount, R$ 1.28 million are coming from the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT), through the Studies and Projects Financier (Finep), while R$ 320 mil correspond to the state counterpart of Fapac.
Each selected project may receive up to R$80 thousand for the development of the proposed solution. Furthermore, approved initiatives may count on up to R$50,000 in technological development grantsgranted by National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), aimed at supporting specialists and researchers involved in the projects.
According to the coordination of the program in the state, the proposal is to encourage ideas capable of generating innovative products, services or processes with potential for economic and social impact.
Who can participate
Registration is open to individuals residing in the stateeven if they do not yet have a formalized company. If the proposal is selected, the proponent must create a company to receive the resources.
You can also participate microenterprises or small businesses with up to 12 months of creation, as long as they are based in the state and have annual revenue of up to R$4.8 million.

Among the criteria required are: having over 18 years olddemonstrate technical or managerial capacity to execute the project, be in good standing with Fapac and have not been included in previous editions of the program.
Selection steps
The selection process will be divided into two knockout stages.
In the first stage, participants must present their innovative ideas, detailing the problem they intend to solve, the proposed solution, the market potential and the possible socio-environmental impacts. Until 100 proposals will be selected to move forward.
In the second phase, those classified must present a more detailed projectwith business plan, market strategy, execution schedule and budget. In the end, until 20 initiatives will be chosen to receive financial support.
Throughout the process, participants will have access to free trainingoffered by partner institutions, with a focus on improving ideas and preparing entrepreneurs to transform projects into viable businesses.
Registration deadline
Approved projects will have a up to 12 months to develop and validate your innovative solutions. Registration for the first phase remains open until April 16, 2026exclusively through the program’s official system.
The final result of the selected projects is scheduled for August 2026when the chosen entrepreneurs will begin the execution phase of the proposals
