Paris Saint-Germain thrashed Chelsea 5-2, this Tuesday (11), at Parc des Princes, and took an advantage in the round of 16 clash of the Champions League.
In a busy game with alternating scores, the French decided the match in the final stretch of the second half, highlighted by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who scored two goals.
The game
The team started better and opened the scoring 10 minutes into the first half. After a cross from Ousmane Dembélé, João Neves headed the ball and Bradley Barcola finished strongly to score.
The team reacted and equalized in the 28th minute. Enzo Fernández found Malo Gusto free in the area, and the full-back sent a cross past goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
Equality was short-lived. At 40, Dembélé counterattacked, dribbled past two markers and finished in the corner to put PSG back in front before the break: 2-1.

The final blows came in the last minutes. At 41, Kvaratskhelia started from the left, pulled towards the middle and hit a shot into the corner, with no chance for the goalkeeper.
In the last attack of the game, Kvaratskhelia took advantage of another rolled ball at the edge of the area to close the score at 5-2.
