Two Iraqi oil ships are attacked in territorial waters

BASRA, March 11 (Reuters) – Two foreign tankers carrying Iraqi fuel oil were the target of unidentified attacks within territorial waters, causing them to catch fire, Farhan al-Fartousi, director general of the General Company of Iraqi Ports, told Reuters. ⁠this Wednesday.

Iraq removed the 25 crew members from the two vessels and the fire is still active on both ships, al-Fartousi added.
