US President Donald Trump assured this Wednesday, without evidence, that the war against Iran “is won” but suggested that it will continue for a while, without specifying how long it may last. “The majority tells me that it is already won,” Trump responded to the press on his return to Washington about the status of the war against Iran, after participating in a Republican rally in Kentucky, adding that even though it is won it does not mean that it will end immediately. Hours earlier, the president had already described the war as won, during a 60-minute speech at a Republican Party rally in a town in northern Kentucky.
