Easter egg and chicken salad. It will be a hit on the holiday table

While Easter eggs dominate the Christmas table. Not only hard-boiled, with mayonnaise or stuffed, but also in the form of salads. It may be an interesting proposition that will appeal to lovers of traditional flavors egg and chicken salad. It is a combination of fried fillets with the addition of boiled eggs, grated yellow cheese and mayonnaise-mustard sauce. If you don’t know yet what delicacies to prepare for your guests this year for the holidays, choose this salad.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

  • 300 g chicken fillets,
  • half a teaspoon of marjoram,
  • half a teaspoon of ground sweet pepper,
  • half a teaspoon of granulated garlic,
  • salt and pepper
  • oil for frying.

Additionally:

  • 5 eggs,
  • 100 g of yellow cheese,
  • small leek,
  • 1 small red onion.

Sos:

  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard,
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice,
  • salt and pepper.

Clean the chicken fillets and cut into small cubes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix all spices in a bowl. Add the chicken and mix everything well with a spoon.

Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the chicken over medium heat until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside to cool.

Hard boil the eggs, cool, peel and chop into cubes.

Cut the yellow cheese into small cubes.

Cut the leek (white and light green parts) into thin half-slices (white and light green parts). If it has a strong flavor, you can pour boiling water over it and dry it. Finely chop the red onion.

In a large bowl, combine chicken, eggs, cheese, leek and onion.

In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the dressing to the salad and mix thoroughly but gently so that all ingredients are evenly combined.

It is best to put the salad in the fridge for at least an hour.
