Milan/Seattle – The public prosecutor’s office in Milan has requested a trial against the online retail group Amazon and four of its managers. According to investigators, the company is said to have evaded VAT of over 1.1 billion euros between 2019 and 2021. An examining judge must now decide whether to open the proceedings. The investigation is part of an investigation conducted by the tax police against the company founded by Jeff Bezos.
