The national president of , Edinho Silva, stated at a meeting of the party’s leadership this Wednesday (11) that there is no chance of the left having two platforms in Rio Grande do Sul.
Currently, there are two pre-candidates from this field for state government. The PT launched Edegar Pretto, current president of Conab (National Supply Company), who ran in 2022 and almost went to the second round. The PDT wants former state deputy Juliana Brizola to run.
At the meeting of the Electoral Working Group, Edinho stated that the electoral tactic for re-election involves unity with the PDT. According to him, the alliance with the pedetistas is a “national priority”.
