More than 120 thousand users may lose their family doctor: either they have no contact with the SUS, or their records are out of date.
“Os users registered with a family doctor and without contact with the National Health Service more than five years ago are eligible for reformulation of family doctor assignment”.
The new paragraph comes in an order published this Wednesday.
In practice, they are practically 122 thousand users who have a family doctor but do not go to appointments. Do not go to health centers or family health units at least five years ago.
The accounts are from the Central Administration of the Health System, which warns that the new registration for the assignment of a family doctor “starts to require that, within the dimension previously contracted with the units in relation to the lists of users with an assigned family doctor, there is availability of vacancies for family doctors in the user’s local health unit and that the user is registered with the SUS with the ‘updated registration’ typology”.
But he adds an even greater number: 262 thousand users do not have an updated registration – and they also risk losing their family doctor.
In this case, anyone who wants to update their data can do so at any SUS unit. If they don’t, they may even be deleted from the system.
