Uniqa boss Andreas Brandstetter: “Health is the new retirement provision”

The previous year was stable in terms of climate. At least from an insurance perspective. Since there was no enormous damage, such as the flood in Lower Austria in 2024, Uniqa also earned better. The consolidated result rose by a good 22 percent to 424.8 million euros in 2025, said Uniqa boss Andreas Brandstetter on Friday. Earnings before taxes increased by around 17 percent to 516.4 million euros. The shareholders should also benefit from this. The dividend for 2025 is to be increased by 20 percent to 0.72 euros. When the new strategy was presented at the beginning of last year, a payout ratio of 50 to 60 percent was promised. This promise is now being kept.
