An attack by Russian drones and missiles in the Kyiv region claimed three lives

A massive Russian attack by drones and rockets near Kyiv left three dead and several injured. It takes place at a time of fragile peace negotiations.

Russian drone and missile attacks near the Ukrainian capital Kiev have killed at least three people and injured several others, the regional military administration said on Saturday. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

“The number of victims in the Kyiv region has risen to three,” Kyiv Region Governor Mykola Kalashnyk said in a post on the Telegram platform.

Peace negotiations in jeopardy

Kalashnyk said in previous posts that a “massive attack” by Russia with drones and missiles near Kiev killed two people and injured at least four others.

Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, mediated by the United States, with the aim of stopping more than four years of fighting, are currently being thwarted by the American-Israeli war with Iran, AFP reminds.
