Senator says the former president is “dejected” and defends house arrest so that his father can receive family care

The senator and pre-candidate for President (PL-RJ) said this Friday (13 March 2026), in a post on social media, that the condition of his father, the former president (PL), is serious. He asked supporters to fast from midnight to 6am and pray for his recovery.

“Let’s fast from midnight to six in the morning and ask God for his recovery and so he can go home,” said Flávio.

According to Flávio, his father at the hospital in the morning, he was “dejected and with a weak voice”. The senator stated that he was “shocked” when Bolsonaro was unable to undergo a physiotherapy exam due to the side effects of medications used to contain hiccups. “He couldn’t balance himself,” these.
