Danko harshly charged his own government: Power, what he said about the ministers! Fico should read his words

Any reconstruction of the government is up to the decision of Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD), who will probably think about it. In that case, however, he should treat all ministers fairly. This was stated by the chairman of the coalition SNS, Andrej Danko, in the Sunday discussion show TA3 V politike, while continuing to criticize the current functioning of the government, which he came up with already on Saturday (March 14).

“He (Robert Fico) will probably think about the reconstruction of the government, who he will replace. But it should certainly be fair, he should certainly assess the activities of each minister. I will tell you as an experienced deputy and former chairman of the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic, the laws that go to the parliament are incompetent, at the last minute. Those stickers that ministers wear just so they don’t miss out on European funds are bad. I miss managing those ministries. Some ministers are maintenance workers, some are tinkerers,” assessed Danko.

He emphasized again that he does not want to break the government coalition so that it is not replaced by the current opposition, nor to act as a blackmailer. At the same time, however, he wants to appeal to the disappointed voters of the current government. According to him, the cabinet should mainly solve the real problems of the people. Therefore, the SNS will better control the proposals that the government will come up with, at the same time it will present its own laws that would help entrepreneurs, pensioners and families.

The chairman of the opposition PS also identified himself with most of the critical statements addressed to the government Michal Simečka. According to him, the current government is characterized by “hypocrisy, unfulfilled promises and deceived voters”. However, he disagrees with Danko on what coalition politicians should do when they are dissatisfied. According to him, the reconstruction of the government is not only up to the prime minister, and several disgruntled deputies have already forced it during this election period.

“You still have deputies in the National Council, you are keeping the majority alive. If you said to yourself that it should change, I want the reconstruction of the government, then the prime minister must act. When you say that you will no longer support this government coalition, because it is hypocritical, because it harms Slovakia, because it focuses on penitents instead of focusing on the people, then you have the votes,” told the chairman of the SNS in the debate Šimeček.

According to him, keeping the government alive just so that it is not replaced by the current opposition is not a good motivation. Danko should also not be afraid of what bad things can happen after the change of government. “I’ll tell you what would happen. For example, we would reduce the dramatically high tax and levy burden on labor because it is holding back our economic growth. We would start saving. What would that be such a disaster?” asked the chairman of the PS. According to him, the priority of all politicians should be the effort to make life better for the citizens of Slovakia.
