Formula 1 cancels its races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia

Formula 1 has canceled the races in Bahrain (April 12) and Saudi Arabia (April 19) due to major security concerns caused by the Iran war. The premier class announced this late on Saturday evening. So after the third race of the season on March 29th in Japan there will be a five-week break from racing: it won’t continue until May 3rd in Miami. The calendar is shrinking from 24 to 22 World Cup races.
