Graz – The GAK opened the qualifying group in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 win over the WAC and thus drew level with the Carinthians on points. Mathias Olesen (25th) and Daniel Maderner (80th) shot the WAC deeper into the crisis; under coach Ismail Atalan, the near-champions of the previous season are still without a point in seven away games. With 13 points each, the duo is six ahead of bottom team Blau-Weiß Linz.
