The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahureacted this Sunday (15) to rumors that circulated on social media claiming that he had died. In a video published on his profiles, the Israeli leader appears sitting in a cafe and comments on the situation in a good-humored way.

During the recording, a man approaches and mentions the messages that had spread on the internet saying that the prime minister was dead. Netanyahu responds with a pun in Hebrew, stating that he “dies” in love with coffee.

“I’m in love with coffee. And, you know what? I’m in love with my people. The way they behave is fantastic,” he said.

Response to theories in networks

In the same publication, Netanyahu also commented on another theory that began to circulate on social media. Some profiles claimed that recent images of the prime minister had been produced with artificial intelligence and would show the leader with six fingers.

“We are doing things that I cannot share at the moment, but we are taking action, hitting Iran very hard, including today, and also continuing in Lebanon,” he declared.

The Israeli leader also advised the population to follow the recommendations of security authorities and pay attention to civil protection instructions during the current scenario of tension in the region.
