Businessman displays Jordan and Kobe card worth R$100 million at the Oscars

Kevin O’Leary wears a chain with a collectible piece that includes autographs and fragments of NBA players’ uniforms

The entrepreneur and investor Kevin O’Leary showed off a diamond-studded chain with a basketball trading card on the red carpet at the Oscar 2026 not Sunday (Mar 15, 2026). The piece brings together autographs and fragments of uniforms from and Kobe Bryant.

The item is a double card of the type “Logoman”, considered one of the most valuable in the sports memorabilia market. It brings together signatures of the 2 players from the (National Basketball Association) and pieces of uniforms used in official matches.

The card was attached to a chain decorated with diamonds and protected by a frame also decorated with precious stones. It has a value of US$19 million (approximately R$100 million).

O’Leary attended the ceremony to watch the, directed by Josh Safdie. In the production, he plays an arrogant businessman who describes himself as a “300 year old vampire”. The cast has Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow e Odessa A’zion.

During the event, O’Leary stated that he had placed a $1,000 bet on Chalamet winning the best actor category.
