Six districts on the continent are this Monday and Tuesday under yellow warning due to the forecast of sea unrest, with forecast waves from the northwest of 4 to 4.5 meters, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
The warning to districts of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga will be in force between 3:00 pm today and 00:00 on Tuesday.
IPMA also issued yellow warning for the district of Faro between 09:00 and 15:00 on Tuesday, southeasterly waves measuring 2 to 2.5 meters are expected.
The yellow warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the meteorological situation.
Minimum temperatures will range between 02 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 12 (in Faro) and maximum temperatures between 16 (in Guarda) and 23 (in Santarém, Setúbal and Braga).
