Even so, government supporters warn that, if the PEC does not proceed as quickly as expected, President Lula will not hesitate to send his own proposal. If you do this, it will be urgent and, therefore, the plenary agenda will be closed in 45 days.
For some allies, the government has nothing to lose and keeps the issue on the agenda.
the main concern of palace ministers is losing the chance to veto the proposal. If the PEC is approved with a salary reduction or without reducing working hours, Lula’s hands will be tied.
