The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, congratulated this Monday the Persian New Year to the “brave people” of Iran, in the midst of the war waged by Israel together with the United States with the Islamic Republic, where the Israeli Army has resumed bombings against Tehran. “This year, this holiday has a special meaning,” Netanyahu said through a message on social networks, in which he added that this will be a year of “freedom, a new beginning of hope” for all Iranians, whom he referred to as his “dear friends.” The Nouruz – Persian name for the New Year – which begins this Friday with a “festival of lights”, symbolizes the ancient Iranian belief “that light will triumph over darkness, that good will triumph over evil”, added the Israeli president, just hours before the Israeli Army announced the beginning of a “generalized wave of attacks” against the infrastructure of the Iranian regime throughout Tehran.
