Nairobi/Vienna – A severe drought has hit northern Kenya. According to the aid organization Care, 3.3 million people are affected by acute food insecurity. This data from an IPC analysis (Integrated Food Security Phase Classification) means an increase of 52 percent within one year. For 400,000 people it is a matter of life or death: they urgently need life-saving help.
