The Ministry of Education determined sanctions against 4 federal universities after unsatisfactory results in the 2025 National Medical Training Assessment Exam. The ordinances were published on Tuesday (17 March 2026) and punish medical courses at 4 public educational institutions: Federal University of Pará, (UFPA), Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), Federal University of Latin American Integration (Unila) and Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB), in addition to others.
