This Thursday (19), Iran intensified attacks against the energy infrastructure of the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, in retaliation for an Israeli offensive against the South Pars natural gas field, the day before.
Warning sirens sounded in several countries in the region and also in Israel because of the new Iranian offensive, on the 20th day of the war in the Middle East.
Qatar reported that a natural gas installation caught fire after being hit by missiles launched by Iran. In addition, a ship was hit off the country’s coast.
At sea off the United Arab Emirates, a vessel caught fire after being the target of an attack. In Abu Dhabi, two natural gas units were closed after being bombed.
Saudi Arabia reported having shot down Iranian drones targeting natural gas fields.
