The process is short, but painful for the Austrian Foreign Ministry: The Vienna Criminal Court is trying to clarify how an explosive report about a Russian attack in Great Britain could get to the outside world. The public prosecutor’s office (StA) in Vienna has therefore accused the former Secretary General Johannes Peterlik of allegedly requesting the documents from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) on October 3, 2018 and passing them on to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution Egisto Ott two days later.
