A CNN Brazil holds, this Friday (20), the first CNN Talks of 2026, which brings together authorities, businesspeople and experts to discuss the future of working hours in Brazil.
The topic has gained strength in recent months with the so-called PEC (Proposed Amendment to the Constitution) on a 6×1 scale. A change in the current model could impact the routine of millions of Brazilians.
To bring the perception of the productive sector and debate the consequences of a possible reduction in working hours in the Brazilian economy, CNN Talks features in its first panel:
- Paulo Skaf, president of Fiesp (Federation of Industry of the State of São Paulo)
- Luiz França, president of Abrainc (Brazilian Association of Real Estate Developers);
- Vander Giordano, advisor to Abrasce (Brazilian Association of Shopping Centers).
The second panel will have the theme “Economic Sustainability and Modernization of the Journey”. The panelists will be:
- Paulo Azi (UNIÃO-BA), federal deputy and rapporteur at the CCJ (Constitution and Justice Commission) of the Chamber of Deputies for the PEC of Scale 6×1;
- Sergio Firpo, economics professor and coordinator of Insper’s Public Spending Quality Observatory.
