A former advisor to senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), Raimunda Veras Magalhãeswas denounced by the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro (MP-RJ) on charges of participating in a money laundering scheme linked to militiaman Adriano da Nóbregason of Raimunda who was killed in 2022 during a police operation in Bahithe. The complaint was filed this Thursday (19).
According to the MP-RJ, Raimunda Veras Magalhães, mother of Adriano da Nórbrega, was part of a network made up of people and companies used to “receive, move and hide values originating from the animal game”. The investigation shows that the group used shell businesses to hide resources obtained from illegal activities.
The Court issued two arrest warrants and six search and seizure warrants under the Operation Legacywhich investigates a million-dollar money laundering scheme, led by Adriano da Nóbrega, exploitation of Jogo do Bicho stalls in Copacabana, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro.
The criminal organization would have moved more than R$8.5 million through the exploration of the animal game in Copacabana, in partnership with the bicheiro Bernardo Beloin addition to the sale of real estate.
