More than a thousand dead in a month of war, says Lebanon

The Lebanese government says that more than a thousand people have died since the start of the Israeli incursion, which began in the south of the country and extended to Beirut and the east of the country. The Israeli attacks are a response to missile launches carried out by the armed wing of Lebanese Hezbollah, which was reacting to the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Ayatollah, Ali Khamenei, in joint attacks by Israel and the USA.
