Mountain rescuers from Veľká Fatra intervened on the basis of an emergency call on Saturday morning at the cottage under Borisov. They helped a 35-year-old Pole who injured his ankle. The Mountain Rescue Service (HZS) informed about it on its website.
The Pole injured his ankle the previous day. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, it was not possible to deploy aviation equipment. “After examining, treating and fixing the injured limb, the rescuers transported the man on a stretcher with the help of rope technology to the HZS all-terrain vehicle and then transported him to the hospital in Martin.” mountain rescuers added.
The injured Pole was transported from the mountains to the hospital in Martin.
