The Upper Austrian ÖVP top politician August Wöginger is to withdraw from one of his long-standing functions at the state party conference of the Upper Austrian People’s Party on April 24th. He has been part of the four-person deputy team in the state VP since 2017, and his role as a possible successor will reportedly be taken over by Economics Minister Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer.
