Os foreign ministers do G7 said this Saturday (21) that they are ready to take the necessary measures to support global energy supplies and reaffirmed the importance of protect the routes maritime, including Strait of Hormuz.
“We… express support for our partners in the region in the face of the unjustifiable attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxies,” ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as the European Union, said in a statement.
“We strongly condemn the regime’s reckless attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, including energy infrastructure,” they added.
The conflict in the Middle East caused oil and natural gas prices to soar. In the case of the first, the commodity reached US$120 per barrel and triggered emergency measures between countries to avoid inflationary impacts.
