The first week of autumn begins with changes in the weather in different regions of the countrywith a tendency for instability and variation in atmospheric conditions to increase in the coming days. According to Climatempo, the scenario is reinforced by the actions of systems that favor formation of heavy clouds and the occurrence of rain.

It is only over the next few days that the more direct effects will be felt with greater intensity in areas of the South, especially in Rio Grande do Sul, where the combination of cyclone and cold front is expected to keep the weather unstable and increase the possibility of rain.

This instability had already been observed since the weekend, with frequent rainfall recorded in different regions of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. This Tuesday (24), the action of the cold front associated with the cyclone keeps the weather closed, especially in the northern half of the state, where the forecast is for precipitation to continue from the early hours of the day.

In the south of the state, the scenario is a little different, with sunshine throughout the day, although there is still a risk of heavier rain at times. The possibility of specific disruptions is not ruled out, especially in areas where instability persists for a longer period of time.

According to Climatempo, the passage of the system also brings a mass of cold airof weak intensity, just enough to cause a slight drop in temperatures.

The change, however, should not bring more severe cold, but rather a reduction in the heat and stuffiness that marked the last few days in regions such as the west, Campanha Gaúcha, the center and south of the State, as well as areas of the Serra.

After advancing through Rio Grande do Sul, the cold front loses strength and heads towards the ocean, without much penetration into the interior of the country. Even so, the system maintains areas of instability in Santa Catarina and Paraná, where the rain is expected to continue in the coming days, in a more irregular manner.
